Produced by the GarcÃa Morales family in San Dionisio Ocotepec using generations-old techniques, Madre Mezcal carries exceptional terroir and tradition in every bottle. From the local water and airborne yeasts to earthen roasting pits, Madre reflects Oaxaca’s land and people.
Madre Mezcal brings together Espadin and Cuishe agave to create a complex yet approachable spirit. The blend unlocks natural flavours that may be hidden behind smoke in other mezcals.
Tasting Note
With less smoke than most mezcals, Madre lets the sweet, mineral and herbal agave speak for itself. Think sweet tropical and stone fruits, fresh green peppers, sage and wet stone. Delicate woodsmoke on the finish.
