Bude Gin is distilled by the The Cornish Distilling Co and is their first foray into gin after years of successful rum sales. Located on the hills overlooking Bude on the picturesque Cornish coast, the distillery takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape.
The Production Process
Bude Gin starts with a base of juniper and fresh citrus botanicals. It is then infused with 9 other botanicals including seaweeds harvested from Cornwall’s rocky shores – kelp and bladderwrack. These provide depth and minerality. Cardamom and grains of paradise lend fragrant spice notes and a subtle peppery finish.

Tasting Note

Juniper-led on the nose, with citrus freshness and coastal notes of brine and seaweed. Hints of cardamom and pepper. Citrus bursts upfront on the palate before giving way to earthy juniper, spice and seaside minerality. Peppery and coastal on the finish, with cardamom lingering alongside subtle mineral notes.
