About the Producer
Founded in 1917 in the Vinho Verde region, Calçada Wines is one of the oldest producers in the region focused especially on the production of still white and rosé wines and sparkling wines and is now the 3rd generation of the family to lead the business. In addition to producing high quality wines, Calçada brand is also synonymous with the art of hospitality – Casa da Calçada is a XVI palace converted into a luxurious hotel – it is a reference in hospitality and within the property we still proudly have what is considered the oldest vineyard in the region.
