Keynvor Spiced Honey Rum

Made by family-run Mounts Bay Distillery in West Cornwall, Keynvor is a small-batch, fire-distilled and cask-aged rum inspired by Cornwall’s wild Atlantic coast. Keynvor is the Cornish word for “ocean”, and the rum brings together aged Caribbean rum with locally sourced Cornish honey, saffron and spices, alongside peppery dulse seaweed for a distinctive savoury, umami character. The result is a fascinating balance of sweet, salty and spicy flavours.

Tasting Note

Rich and aromatic, with sweet Cornish honey, vanilla and creamy chocolate alongside warming spice. The palate develops notes of oak, saffron and caramel, with peppery seaweed adding a subtle salty, savoury edge and gorse bringing delicate coconut-like notes. Smooth, complex and beautifully balanced, with a long, gently warming finish.
