Inspired by the famous 19th-century Salcombe Fruiters, Island Street pays homage to the intrepid sailors who sailed from Devon to the Caribbean and returned with exotic fruits, spices, sugar and rum. Made at Salcombe Distilling Co.’s waterside home on Island Street, the rum combines a single-estate gold rum fermented, distilled and aged in Salcombe with hand-sourced gold rums from Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, blended with a distinctive selection of Caribbean spices.

Tasting Note

Rich and aromatic, with soft brown sugar, rum baba, toasted coconut and warming spiced compote on the nose. The palate is smooth and generous, bringing gingerbread, vanilla and fresh pineapple, while the finish is long and luxurious with notes of pecan, marzipan and subtle floral sweetness.
