Deutz Millesime Brut Champagne 2014 is produced by historic Champagne house Deutz, founded in 1838 and located in the heart of the Champagne region in Aÿ. Deutz is revered for its elegant, complex Prestige Cuvées made exclusively from Grand Cru and Premier Cru grapes. Meticulous attention to detail ensures only the finest grapes make it into Deutz Millesime Brut.

Viticulture and Production

The grapes for Deutz Millesime Brut Champagne 2014 were hand-selected from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The blend is composed of 62% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier. After slow pressing, the must underwent partial malolactic fermentation and maturation on the lees for 4 years before disgorgement. Minimum of 3 years bottle ageing post disgorgement.

Tasting Notes

Deutz Millesime Brut Champagne 2014 is a brilliant golden hue with a persistent mousse.

The refined nose offers aromas of apple, pear, lemon curd and brioche, with hints of hazelnut and clove.

The palate is precise and complex, with intricate flavours of stone fruits, ginger, brioche and toasted nuts.

The fine bubbles impart a creamy texture to the elegant mouthfeel. The finish is long and mineral-laced.
