The nose has initial aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry & cherry) leading to biscuity notes (almond, apricot and brioche). On the palate: Full bodied and deliciously fruity with flavours of juicy ripe strawberries & cherries.
About the Producer
Barbe Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin was born in 1777, the daughter of a textile manufacturer in Reims, Champagne. Widowed at the age of only 27, she took control of her own destiny and became one of the first modern entrepreneurs. Madame Clicquot made her name into a brand of excellence and had it shine the world over. Her formidable contributions earned her the nickname of “la grande dame of Champagne”.
Clicquot Rosé is the result of a blending of grapes from 50 to 60 different crus, and is composed of up to 45% reserve wines. The cuvée is, based on the traditional Yellow Label blend and completed with Pinot Noir red wine.
