Champagne Deutz Brut Rose
To produce a clear white base wine, all of the grapes are pressed and vinified at Deutz’s state-of-the-art winery in A. The addition of red wine (about 8%), derived from Pinot Noir grown in the Meurtet vineyard on the slope right behind the winery, gives the combination its rosĂ© colour.
Traditionally, reserve wines make up between 25% and 40% of this non-vintage blend. It spends three years on the lees after assembling and another six months after degorgement before being released.
This wine has an appealing pale salmon-pink colour with orange flashes and a delicate mousse that lasts. Aromas of wild strawberries, cranberries, and raspberries greet the nose.
It’s crisp on the palate, yet with a mellow character thanks to three years on the lees. A long and satisfying conclusion
