Champagne, H.Blin Rose de Saignee
Champagne | France
Deep pink with a stream of fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is expressive with vibrant aromas of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant. Fresh and linear on the palate, the wine combines bright red fruit with subtle spicy notes.
About the Producer
Vincelles, the historic home of the Meunier grape, lies in Champagne’s Vallée de la Marne, just 25 minutes from Épernay and Reims. Its name derives from the Latin vini cella (“wine cellar”), reflecting a winemaking heritage dating back to the 17th century. In 1947, Henri Blin united 29 local growers to found Champagne H. Blin. The Rosé de Saignée 2018 showcases the house’s mastery of the rare saignée method, where grape skins macerate with the juice to create greater colour, intensity and aromatic depth. An exceptional terroir-driven Extra Brut Champagne with 4 g/L dosage.
