About the Producer
Bollinger’s quest for perfection was honoured in 1884 when it became the first Champagne House awarded a Royal Warrant by the Court of England, a distinction it still holds. Renowned as the Champagne of James Bond, celebrating over 40 years, Bollinger’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% Grand and Premier Cru vines. Pinot Noir makes up 60% of the vineyards, reflecting its role in the Special Cuvée blend. The estate preserves historic, phylloxera-resistant plots Clos Saint-Jacques and Chaudes Terres, producing Vieilles Vignes Françaises. La Grande Année 2015, a blend of 11 crus, is fermented fully in oak barrels and aged more than twice the appellation requirement.
