Bramley and Gage – 6 O’Clock Gin Offers

What time is officially Gin O’ Clock?

I ask this question as this month we take a fresh look at the first craft Gin we ever stocked over ten years ago – 6 O’Clock Gin made by Bramley & Gage in Bristol. I remember tasting it for the first time and being completely blown away at its complexity and smoothness. They have added to the range since then but they all start with their core gin and botanicals; Juniper (obviously), Orris Root, Angelica, Winter Savory, Orange Peel, Corriander and Elderflower. The magic takes places in their unique double sphere copper pot still named Kathleen.

We’re offering a lovely 10% discount on all 6 O’Clock Gin products listed on the Rusty Nail Spirits site throughout the month of November, here’s what’s on offer:

6 O’Clock London Dry Gin 43% ABV

6 O’Clock Sloe Gin 26% ABV

Yes, it’s great fun making your own Sloe Gin but the mistake most people make is going to the supermarket and buying the cheapest Gin they can find. I’m not going to put you off making your own Sloe Gin but I urge you to start with decent Gin first and you’ll really taste the difference. If you can’t wait for your Sloe Gin to steep or you don’t want the faff then this is the Sloe Gin to buy; hand-picked sloes are steeped for six months (or more) with just the right amount of sugar producing a rich and fruity Sloe Gin. Lovely on it’s own or with ice and bitter lemon as a long drink.

This of course means the flavoured Gin in perfect with Indian or spicy food.
