Shadow Point Pinot Noir
Monterey | USA

This wine combines delicious red cherry and dried cranberry concentration, with a touch of dark spice. The palate has wild bramble and cherry pie notes. It finishes bright, fresh and gently toasty.
About the Producer
Boutinot has been working with growers in California for over 10 years, finessing our offering from vintage to vintage, increasingly with specific estates sourcing old vine material and site-specific fruit. The current range of wines are sourced from the warm region of Lodi in Central California, to which Samantha Bailey brings her esteemed palate and decades experience to hone these elements into the brightest wines of The Golden State. Fruit is sourced from a vineyard in Monterey, California’s Central Coast region, benefitting from the cooling breezes from the Pacific and as such lends itself to Pinot Noir.

Fun Fact
Pinot Noir is one of the fussiest and difficult grapes to grow due to it’s thin skin making it sensitive and prone to disease.
