Rowan’s Creek Kentucky Bourbon
Before prohibition, the Willett family had previously had a long history within the distilling trade so it was no surprise that they set up their own distillery in 1936, only 3 short years after prohibition in America ended. Rowan’s Creek was released in 1990 with a heavy influence from the nearby creek that John Rowan used to distil his own whiskey in the 1700’s. Rowan’s Creek is aged in new charred oak barrels to give a robust smoky, oaky flavour mingled with layers of caramel, vanilla, herbs and floral notes.
