The Mezan’s Master Distiller travels tirelessly across central America with an aim to find the best distilleries.

The distillery for the Mezan Panama 2010 is at an undisclosed location in Panama – very top secret. What we do know is that they grow their own sugarcane on site and they even cultivate their own yeast cultures.

The rums in this small batch have been aged twice in separate sets of white oak American Bourbon casks to add structure.

Orange notes with a touch of cinnamon and coconut. Light estery tones with dried fig and a back note of fresh sap wood. Spiced oak with nutmeg and tropical fruit. On the finish, there are hints of ginger and a delectable zingy sweetness.
