Cruxland Gin unusually contains the Kalahari truffle, an exotic and rare fungus only found at certain times of the year. The KWV’s Brandy Master stumbled across this ugly looking mushroom on a jaunt into the Kalahari desert and thought to himself “This would work well in gin!” Made under the watchful eye of Blending Manager Ilse du Toit, 8 botanicals are carefully selected and distilled to create a unique and floral South African gin featuring aniseed, rooibos, lemon, coriander, honeybush, almond and Kalahari truffles.
