About the Producer
Calancombe Estate, is an award winning, beautiful Devon Vineyard, Winery and Distillery near Modbury. As well as wine from our own grapes, we make Dartmouth English Gin, cyder, cassis and apple brandy. Planting of the first parcel of vines commenced in 2012, with 5,800 Pinot Noir, followed in subsequent years up to 2016 with 3,400 Bacchus, 1000 Pinot Gris, 7,000 Madeleine Angevine, 2,000 Pinot Noir Precoce, 1,000 Chardonnay and 2,250 Ortega vines. Total plantings extend to 23 acres making the Estate one of the largest in the Devon producing its own wines. Beautiful wines from an amazing piece of land
