With a rich heritage and an unwavering commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, Warenghem has been producing fine spirits since its establishment in 1900. Nestled in the heart of Brittany, the distillery draws inspiration from the region’s Celtic roots and infuses its creations with a distinct sense of terroir and tradition.

This craft distillery has more than 100 years of experience and know-how. In 1983, thanks to Gilles Leizour’s passion for innovation and whisky, the distillery became the first French whisky distillery.

Breizh Breton Blended Whisky is a testament to Warenghem’s expertise and dedication. Meticulously crafted using a harmonious blend of selected malt and grain whiskies, this expression captures the essence of Brittany’s rugged landscapes and unique maritime climate. The whisky undergoes a meticulous aging process in a combination of oak casks, allowing the flavours to develop and mature into a harmonious symphony.

Tasting Note

Rich caramel, subtle vanilla and a gentle waft of smoke on the nose. Honeyed fruits and toasted oak on the palate with a quiet spice that carries through. The finish is long and warming, with toffee and a touch of coastal saltiness.
