Penderyn Distillery established its first whisky distillery in Wales in 2000. Today, they continue to craft premium spirits that showcase Wales’ superb craftsmanship. Brecon Special Reserve Gin highlights the very best of Penderyn’s distilling expertise in an exceptionally smooth, flavourful gin.

Brecon Special Reserve Gin’s delicate flavour starts with a base of locally-sourced wheat spirit. This is distilled in Penderyn’s unique copper pot still along with a carefully selected blend of 10 botanicals. These include juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, fresh citrus peel, and cassia bark. The result is a complex, yet wonderfully balanced gin.

Tasting Note

Piney juniper and zesty citrus on the nose, layered over earthy angelica root. Smooth and rounded on the palate, with juniper upfront and traces of spice, liquorice and orange peel. A crisp, dry finish with lingering citrus and warm pepper notes.
