Bounty Gold Rum is expertly crafted by St. Lucia Distillers, the leading rum producer on the idyllic Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Founded in 1931, this family-owned distillery has been perfecting the art of rum-making for over 80 years, earning a reputation for creating some of the finest rums in the West Indies. Their skilled master blenders carefully select and blend rums to create the exceptional Bounty Gold Rum.
Traditional Production Process
Bounty Gold Rum starts with a base of molasses made from the freshest St. Lucian sugarcane. The molasses is fermented then distilled through both column and traditional pot stills, capturing vibrant flavors. The distillate is aged for at least 8 years in well-seasoned American oak barrels, which slowly impart the rum with rich color and complex aromas of vanilla, spice and toasted wood. Finally, the aged rums are artfully blended and filtered to remove colour before bottling this gold-hued sipping rum.

Tasting Note

Butterscotch, ripe banana, warm vanilla and fragrant oak on the nose, with orange blossom, caramel and nutmeg. Silky and lush on the palate, with sweet molasses, exotic mango, pineapple, cinnamon, toasted almond and vanilla. The long finish reveals the oak barrel ageing — charred wood, brown sugar, toasted coconut and raisins.
