After the Storm Spiced Rum

Made by The Cornish Distilling Co. at Norton Barton on the rugged North Cornish coast, After the Storm is a true Cornish rum, with the distillery fermenting and distilling its own base spirit from molasses. The spirit is proofed with Cornish spring water before being steeped with spices for two weeks. Even the distillery’s electricity has a distinctly Cornish connection, with an on-site wind turbine generating power from the Atlantic winds.

Tasting Note

Smooth and aromatic, with rich vanilla, bright orange and luscious caramel leading the way. Warming nutmeg and cinnamon develop on the palate, adding gentle spice and depth without overpowering the rum. Rounded, warming and beautifully balanced, with a lingering spiced finish.
