Remarkably fragrant with ripe raspberry, cocoa, bramble fruit and anise, this is a weighty, richly textured Malbec. Velvet-smooth and delicious.
About the Producer
Vineyards are in the Valle de Uco (Altamira, La Consulta, Los Arboles, San Pablo) and Luján de Cuyo (Las Compuertas, Perdriel), at an altitude between 2,306- and 3,927-feet. It is a semi-desert climate.
Hand harvested then fermented with selected and native yeasts in 8 and 17 ton closed-top stainless-steel tanks. Aged in American oak barrels for 9 months. Bottled in February. Unfined.
