Tringario ‘Ludopata’ Marselan
Tringario ‘Ludopata’ Marselan
Tringario is a small family winery created in 2015 by Jose and Trini with the objective of making wines with “the shackles off.” The family opted to ferment and develop the wine exclusively in concrete eggs under temperature control, giving it the name “Ludopata,” which means “Gambler.”
The thick-skinned, intensely flavoured Marselan grape originally hails from France and is uncommon to be seen as a 100% varietal outside of China.
A mild micro-oxidation gives them a stunning accuracy and a strong, more mineral flavour.
Tasting Note
Tringario ‘Ludopata’ Marselan is not aged in any oak, therefore there is a lot of purity.
It is a deep, inky crimson with hints of wild fruits, red berries, violets and baking spices.
