Tanduay Silver Rum originates from Tanduay Distillers Inc, the Philippines’ foremost rum producer. Founded in 1854, Tanduay has over 150 years of expertise crafting quality rums using both historic and modern techniques.

The Production Process

To make Tanduay Silver Rum, Tanduay starts by fermenting and distilling select Philippine molasses. The rum is distilled multiple times in copper pot stills to achieve a light and refined spirit. This clear, unaged rum is then diluted and filtered by Tanduay’s master blenders before bottling.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bright aromas of sugarcane and tropical fruits like banana and papaya leap from the glass. Hints of vanilla, cinnamon and allspice develop.

Palate: Light-bodied and crisp with flavours of vanilla, pear and fresh sugarcane juice. A touch of spice lingers on the smooth palate.

Finish: Clean and refreshing finish with lingering notes of citrus, ginger and cane sugar.

Alternatively, try a classic Philippine cocktail like the Tanduay Silver Sour. Shake 50ml Tanduay Silver Rum with 25ml fresh lemon juice and 12.5ml sugar syrup over ice. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
