About the Producer
In Argentina the Malbec grape is the vinous equivalent of Messi or Maradona. Santuario pays tribute to this Argentinean wine obsession. This wine over delivers on every front showing why Argentina leads the world in quality Malbec.
66% of the Malbec is from Vistalba, trained vertically, drop irrigated over alluvial soil. 34% is from Medrano, also vertically trained, drop irrigated over medium texture soil. Harvested at the end of March.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks and concrete vats. Traditional red wine fermentation with commercial yeasts, open tank pump overs and the fermentation conducted at 28ºC.
