Mermaid Zest Gin originates from the Isle of Wight’s premier craft distillery and the home of Mermaid Gin. Founded in 2014 next to the seaside in Ventnor, the Isle of Wight Distillers ethically hand forages many of its botanicals around the island’s stunning coastal landscape. The distillery is acclaimed for their smooth, complex Mermaid Gin infused with locally harvested botanicals.

The Crafting Process
Mermaid Zest Gin starts with Mermaid’s signature gin blend made with ten meticulously selected botanicals including juniper, citrus peels, cassia, angelica root, coriander and orris root. This award-winning gin is then skilfully infused with eye-catching zestful citrus fruits – sun-kissed grapefruit, bergamot oranges from the Mediterranean Isle of Calabria, along with aromatic wild rosemary foraged from the Isle of Wight’s virgin coastal cliffs.

Tasting Note

An alluring bouquet of lively grapefruit, exotic bergamot and verdant coastal rosemary on the nose. An exhilarating surge of tangy grapefruit and bergamot on the palate, followed by earthy juniper and a whisper of seaside rosemary. Mouthwatering citrus oils and subtle aniseed spices linger on the finish.
