About the Producer
Mád Wine, based in the prestigious Tokaj village of Mád, thrives on volcanic, rhyolite-rich soils where Furmint excels. This historic region is famed for Tokaji Aszú, the “Wine of Kings, King of Wines,” celebrated for exceptional sweet wines and increasingly for refined dry styles. Mád’s small growers supply high-quality grapes at above-market prices to ensure excellence. Vineyards on south and west-facing slopes grow in red clay, zeolite Malota, and quartz rhyolite soils. Modern temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation preserves the unique minerality and terroir expression in these wines.
