La Voluta Grande, Pinot Grigio
Veneto | Italy

Apple and citrus aromas lead to a crisp, clean and delicate palate, with lightly floral note balanced by lemony acidity and a fresh, dry finish.
About the Producer
Produced from selected Pinot Grigio grapes grown on hillside vineyards in Provincia di Pavia, northern Italy. The grapes were harvested during the first 2 weeks of September. The grapes were crushed and gently pressed and the juice allowed to settle and clarify before cool fermentation at 16 to 18C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled young after a period of 3 to 6 months ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
Food Pairing
A highly versatile dry white, ideal as an aperitif or to accompany foods such as seafood, grilled fish, salads and cold white meats.

Fun Fact
Pinot Grigio is a mutation of the Pinot Noir grape and as such the skin has a grey-blue hue, the ‘blush’ colour comes from the skins of the grapes.
