About the Producer
Patrice Armand, a Cairanne neighbour of Domaine Boutinot Rhône, owns 40ha of sun-drenched vines that benefit from the cooling Mistral wind and above-average rainfall. His 60–70-year-old vieilles vignes produce low, concentrated yields of 45hl/ha. La Chapelle de Marin is mainly sourced from three of his limestone-rich parcels—La Combe d’Antide, La Beraude, and Les Sablières on sandier slopes. Hand-picked bunches are carefully destemmed and vinified with traditional, minimal intervention methods. No oak is used, allowing the wine’s pure, fresh fruit character to shine.
Food Pairing
Lovely with BBQs; grilled meats, halloumi and vegetables. Herby sausages, pasta with Mediterranean vegetables.
