Krohn, LBV 2016/2017
Porto | Portugal

Damson plum, dried fruit and warm spice with hints of fresh cherry.
About the Producer
Traditional Port grapes are sourced from Krohn’s Quinta do Retiro Novo estate, and from long-standing relationships with neighbouring growers. After fermentation the wine is aged in barrel for 4-6 years before bottling. Krohn’s LBV Ports are neither fined nor filtered and may thus throw a sediment. We recommend to decant them before serving.
Food Pairing
Perfect with blue cheeses, a decent mature cheddar or a slab of dark chocolate.

Fun Fact
LBV (Late Bottle Vintage) is from a single declared year and aged in the barrel for 4-6 years before being bottled. This version is unfiltered so it throws a little sediment when you get to the bottom of the bottle
