About the Producer
Guillaume Gonnet is an energetic Rhône winemaker with a curious, boundary-pushing approach shaped by experiences in Australia and New Zealand. Now back in the Rhône with his Australian wife, he channels his passion into his family estate and his own project. A landlocked surfer embracing biodynamics, Guillaume lets his Grenache-based wines express terroir through hands-off winemaking. His vineyard practices “Lutte raisonnée,” using chemicals only when necessary, encouraging biodiversity with cover crops, ploughing, and natural composts. Fermentation and aging take place traditionally in concrete vats for 12 months.
Food Pairing
This wine deserves to be served with a slow cooked meal such as a Daube (Southern French casserole) or a baked lamb.
