About the Producer
The origins of this château date back to 1344 as a papal property. It was purchased by the Revoltier family in 1976, whose 40 hectares are planted with 60% Grenache, 15% Syrah. The style here is modern, with an emphasis on bright summer fruits and notable spice.
Hand harvested, with a rigorous fruit selection, the grapes were destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel at relatively low temperatures(22-24C) with indigenous yeasts. After 3 weeks maceration, the wine was racked to old oak casks for 10 months maturation.. The wine was gently fined but not filtered prior to bottling.
