A very intense ruby red wine, intense with hints of violet, black currant, plum jam and with light spicy notes. The taste is full and round thanks to the sweet tannins; it has hints of fruit compote.

Taking a thoroughly contemporary approach, Bella Modella creates a fine yet affordable style of modern still wines.
Medium-textured soil, deep on a tufaceous limestone substrate. Mild and slightly rainy winters. Hot and dry summers but with good ventilation.
Manual grape harvest, soft pressing & fermentation with maceration for 8-10 days to obtain the right colour. Use of selected yeasts & fermentation at controlled temperature below 28 ° C. Stabilization & cold bottling.
Ageing
6 months in steel tank.

Suitable for main courses based on red meats, roasts, game and tasty cheeses.
