Arette, Tequila Blanco

Arette is produced by the Orendain family at the historic El Llano distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, a distillery the family has owned since the early 20th century. The brand takes its name from Arette, the famous Mexican show-jumping horse whose rider won Olympic gold in 1948. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, the Blanco is unaged, allowing the natural character of the cooked agave to take centre stage.

Tasting Note

Fresh and expressive, with sweet cooked agave, bright citrus and fresh herbal notes. The palate is vibrant and slightly earthy, with lime and lemon, green pepper and gentle floral character, followed by a distinctive black-pepper spice. Clean, dry and refreshing, with a lingering agave and citrus finish.
